I’m Aaron Collins, LMFT, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate offering clinical supervision and professional consultation for therapists who want to grow their expertise and serve clients with confidence. Whether you’re working toward licensure, developing systemic skills, or pursuing your AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation, I provide a collaborative, supportive space where you can sharpen your skills, reflect on your work, and step fully into your professional identity.
Supervision is more than case review — it’s a collaborative, reflective space for developing your professional identity, sharpening your interventions, and ensuring you meet ethical and licensing requirements. My goal is to foster your growth as both a skilled clinician and a grounded, compassionate person.
I provide individual and group supervision for:
LMFT and MFT pre-licensure candidates
Professionals working toward AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation
Therapists working in agency, group practice, or private practice settings
Professionals seeking systemic supervision, including work with couples and families
Specialty Areas I Support:
Systemic family therapy (Structural, Strategic, Bowenian, etc.)
Trauma-focused work (EMDR, attachment-based, narrative approaches)
Couples therapy (Gottman Method, emotionally focused principles)
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in therapy contexts
Integration of Christian faith in counseling (if desired)
My supervision style blends:
Conceptualization — seeing client issues through a systemic lens
Reflective practice — using questions and discussion to deepen your self-of-therapist awareness
Skill-building — practicing interventions, role plays, and enactments
Ethical and professional guidance — maintaining best practices and meeting licensing requirements
Reciprocal learning — I believe supervision is a collaborative process where both of us grow
